Edelweiss swamp flowers have recently become a hot topic of conversation after about 2,000 of these plants were damaged. The plant was damaged after trail bike activities in the Kampung Cai area, Ranca Upas, Ciwidey, Bandung Regency.

Swamp flower (Syngonathus flavidulus) is an endemic flora in the Ranca Upas and Lake Ciharus areas, West Java.

This swamp flower is small white, with 1 flower on 1 stem with a height of about 30 cm.

Swamp flowers can be said to be almost the same as edelweiss flowers. That’s because these two plants have the same characteristics, which are eternal or never wither.

The difference is that swamp flowers are endemic flora or only grow naturally in the Ranca Upas or Lake Ciharus areas.

Meanwhile, edelweiss flowers can be found in almost all of Indonesia’s tropical mountains and are in a protected National Park area.

Unlike edelweiss flowers, marsh flowers in Lake Ciharus are less well preserved. Even though it is part of the Nature Reserve area, visitors can easily pick these flowers here.
